No one does it like Lauren! We had a pretty hefty ask of 50 gift cards for an event, and she handled it like a pro, and kept the line moving! Once we got our gift cards sorted out, I enjoyed a cheeseburger, and several items from the store! Will return here frequently!

Best coffee stop,best cinnamon rolls in town, and a great selection of snacks. The availability of allergen friendly and vegetarian/healthy options is also pretty amazing! If you smell something baking, you ought to stop in and try it!

The Statehouse is beyond lucky to have Lauren and her crew serving up delicious bites to help folks get through long days during Session! Lettuce Feed You is also a great option for catering, no matter the event or occasion, as it's always fresh and delicious, and Lauren and her staff are always responsive, helpful, and generous.

Be it a delicious salad(from locally sourced vegetables) that is free if you can make one that is only 1 lb, coffee, cappuccino or various other options. There is something for just about everyone. Helps to have a place to go to with lots of options that are likely better for you time-wise/healthy-wise than most drives around time. Not to mention virtually no super long lines.

Lauren and her staff are a blessing here at the Capitol. They do an amazing job trying to keep up with the requests of their customers by introducing a variety of food and beverage choices. The food is always amazing. The service is superb. I am not a coffee drinker, but if you are, you will be happy to know that they have a plethora of coffee drinks in all flavors. As a member of the Ks Legislature for ten years, I can remember the days of Don's snack shack on the third floor. A hot dog or PBJ were the lunch choices of the day. Lauren has expanded that service exponentially with a variety of menu items, with lasagna being my personal favorite. A fully stocked salad bar, free if you can make a salad weighing exactly one pound! If you find yourself at the Kansas State Capitol building, you need to check it out. It is just inside the visitor center on the ground floor. You will not be disappointed.

Came across this gem today inside the Capitol! What a great atmosphere with a fun menu. The menu has a nice variety of options and reasonable prices. Many menu names incorporate a Kansas item/theme. The ability to order online and pick up is perfect for those who like to plan ahead with a grab and go lunch. The coffee options are endless and I will be trying one of every flavor along with the $5.00 milkshakes! I look forward to trying several options from the cute restaurant. If you driving to this location you will need to park in visitor parking or on Jackson street. The restaurant is located inside the Capitol.

I appreciate all you guys do for all the state office buildings!! Food is delicious and even the capital coffee is phenomenal. 10/10 Recommend the coffee in the capital. It is absolutely delicious!!! Even had the salad bar trying to aim for the pound of salad no luck for me though Maybe next time
